Abstract

The natural depletion of natural reserves, along with intensive economic activity, exacerbate environmental problems. It is important to identify these problems at the stage of their occurrence, thereby preventing environmental degradation and preserving the natural balance. In this regard, the issues of improving the legal regulation of public relations in the field of environmental monitoring are becoming particularly relevant. In order to improve the legal regulation of relations in the field of environmental monitoring, the main problems of legal support in this area are considered and proposals for their elimination are formulated. Research methods: general scientific and private scientific methods of cognition (formal-legal, systemic-structural, functional).
