Abstract

The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the modern economy, which, for national security purposes, must meet the challenges of scientific and technological development, solve the problems of import substitution, digitalization, labor productivity, etc., in conditions of unprecedented sanctions pressure on the country and the conduct of a special military operation, requires increased and high-quality labor returns from Russian women. In addition, demographic problems are currently and in the long term very acute, perhaps even paramount, — a reduction in the birth rate, the need to strengthen the health of the nation and the savings of the people. And here the active participation of women is necessary.

The main objective of this article is the theoretical understanding of labor and social security legislation from the point of view of the women' interests and therefore of the whole society. For all the importance of the diverse social roles of women today, it seems that their roles in family are underestimated and requiring special attention of the legislator. In order to solve the problem, the authors developed the structure of the article, consisting of an introduction, nine sections and a conclusion. Each of the sections allows revealing more deeply the causes and essence of the most pressing problems of legal regulation of labor and social security that woman in modern society.

The methodology of the article is based both on general scientific methods of empirical comparison, description and interpretation, as well as private scientific methods: historical and system analysis.

The obtained scientific and practical results allowed formulating the recommendations and proposals for changing the legislation in the field of labor and social security.
