The article presents an overview of the XI All-Russian Annual Meeting of Legal Theorists held at the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation on February 28, 2024, devoted to the concepts of the development of Russian legislation as an achievement of modern academic science and dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The review contains greetings and abstracts from the participants of the plenary session, as well as reflects the main ideas of prominent and young scientists, statesmen of the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Uzbekistan and other countries. The theses expressed by the speakers and participants of the discussion on the round tables are presented on the general problems of understanding academic jurisprudence and its place in social science and social practice; the formation of academic jurisprudence and its main paradigms on the historical path of development of Russia; the role of academic jurisprudence in substantiating the system of legal education, the system of legislative and law enforcement activities; the tasks of legal science facing the challenges of a new technological order; new trends in law and legislation in modern social regulation; Russian legislation, its general characteristics and directions of development; the role of courts and judicial practice in the generation of law and the development of legislation; scientific concepts of the development of basic, complex and procedural branches of Russian legislation, as well as atypical and emerging legal arrays; Russian legislation in the context of the evolution of international law and the development of the world legal order.
