Abstract

On November 22, 2022, a regular meeting of the section “Law” was held at the Central Scientists Club under the leadership of the chairman of the section, professor Yu. A. Tikhomirov and the deputy chairman of the section, professor S. A. Sinitsyn. The main speaker was Yu. M. Baturin, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, doctor of law, professor, Russian cosmonaut, who devoted his speech to issues related to the professional training of IT lawyers. The speaker refuted the myths that arose in the context of “digitalization”, and also outlined the problem of virtual displacement of the border with the real world in the perception of people brought up on information technology. Based on the results of the report, proposals were formulated to improve the quality of training of legal specialists with a complex of knowledge that provides legal support for the creation and use of information technologies, information security, etc.
